If I remember correctly, early this year he was in the hospital for a while. I hope he's not back in there.

I think I mentioned once we were also working on a Roadster. We've been putting the last minute things in place and we were suppose to go to the Track Wednesday to start getting the runs necessary for the license. It didn't work out just that way, we missed the self imposed Wednesday deadline. But that was paint and body stuff not mechanical. Flames still needed to be laid out and shot. So we've been hard at it. :D

Day job is being sold. Our division is up for sale and with all the teams and meetings etc... I have very little time to even check my e-mail. But it is an experience, not all that fun but then...

I am hoping I have some earned time in the paint booth this coming week or so. I have some little things I have been trying to paint for the 80 Elky and the "paying customers" cars have been in the way! Now this Dragster, which we both want to see scooting down the quarter all take priority over mine. I can't move forward until I get these things shot. I have the transmission, Core Support, Gas Tank, Crossmember and the Power Steering Reservoir all needing to be painted still.

Like I said little things but at least two are show stoppers. So evening job/hobby is split right now.

I fell into a Grease Pit at the shop earlier this year and shattered my heal. The stupidest thing I believe I've ever done. That put all plans and hopes for a completion off for over 8 weeks! I hope that doesn't happen again. I pay more attention to what I am doing when I am around it now. :D

ElkyPete has been too busy teaching me about wheel offsets/backspacing through Private Messaging! For which I am both thankful and impressed. Thanks again Pete for your patience! I won't be able to look at those Cragars for a while

Seems like every part of the country has its hazards. I am just hoping that you folks over there on the "left coast" (specifically CA) are managing to keep safe from those fires. Its not bad enough we have natural causes to deal with but to have someone or some people burn down the forest on purpose is just a killing offence!

Hope you and yours are safe and you don't loose anything. :onfire:
