I just recently got my 79 and was curious if anyone was running the older Corvette Rally wheels. Mine are 15x8 and have 255/60/15 tires on them. They fit very well on the back but the 255/60/15 is way to big for the front. If I measured correctly the backspacing is four and a half inches on these wheels. Is anyone using a 215/60,225/60,or 235/60 up front on this type of wheel without any rubbing issues? Any advice is appreciated. :?

ran 235's they rub front of quater all the way at lock 225's on now work fine

225 is what I will go with. 8) Thanks for the response. Are you running eight inch wheels up front?
