I have 3 spd Saginaw behind my 383 and need a 4 speed that can handle the load better, the 3 spd feels like its gonna blow when I put something on it. I believe the M20, M21 will directly swap over without having to change/cut the driveline, but I can be wrong. Any input is appreciated, thanks

jmask99, Sorry I do not have any insight to your request for info but I just read in December 06 issue of Hot Rod Magazine page 32 that Keisler Engineering has just bought an entire line from GM's Muncie,Indiana plant and will be offering gearboxes and gearsets for all Muncie 4-speeds-M20,M-21,M-22.I have a Keisler Tremec 5 speed in my 87 El Camino and I am very pleased with it.You may want to see if they can provide you with some info.www.keislerauto.com

jmask99,
I'm not sure about the Muncie units but if you are interested, I have a factory original 4 speed saginaw with shifter from a '78 Conquista. If that will suit your needs, let me know.
