My dad is the biggest El Camino, Chevelle and Corvette freak. He has owned his 65 thats my brothers now for 41 years and the blue one for about 3 years. He has had many Corvettes, couple Chevelles, Impalas, pick ups, Beatle, and more cars than a dealership has ever had. Told him about ECC and he is on here alot, When he's home. I will have to scan some of the old pictures of his cars for you guys and girls.

:beer: Well, he's in good company then. I tend to be more of a Corvette enthusiest than Elky, however I wouldn't trade my Elky for anything...well, maybe an 08' Corvette Stingray(or SS or whatever they'll call it). :P

The reason us kids are car nuts is my dad couldnt read until 5th grade. He learned to read using Hot Rod mags. He started saving his money since he was 13 years old, for his dream car. Of course thats a Corvette. He worked for his friends fathers apliance company cleaning repo fridges for 25 cents each.

My father-in-law had a '69 Vette with the 427, 4 spd, convertible w/ 2 tops and FACTORY A/C.

I did some researching, and it's now worth between $99K and $250K. Needless to say, he's kicking himself for ever trading it in for a 4-door Impala. :banghead:
