Putting together a Cowl Induction System for my 70 El Camino. The door frame, flapper frame and retainer clips are all held together with a set of retainer screws. OPG, NPD and Year One all sell the retainer screw set, when their in stock that is, for the clips. My question is; are these screws a special type of screw or can you just run down to a local hardware store and get 6 screws to do the job? Someone told me that the Camaro's Induction System of the late sixies had the same or very similar screws for their system. Does anyone know if this is true also? If so, I can get ahold of those screws to do the job. Any help is always appreciated.
TIA,
Grant :D :?

You could try this place American Trim & Auto (http://www.atrim.com) they have all sorts of hard to find trim pieces, screws, clips, fasteners, and stop bumpers upholstry and other little pieces.

Its a good place to shop.
