I found these sway bars on ebay http://i21.ebayimg.com/04/i/08/e5/ac/45_1.JPG the ad said they are optional factory front f-41 sway Bars. then "theelcaminofactory" shows me a ebay link that says this http://i19.ebayimg.com/02/i/06/e6/09/e5_1.JPG is a factory F-41 sway bar which are which my car has what seems to be on the first pic. also what is the difference between the two.

The first picture is of reinforcement bars or somtimes called "jounce" bars which are attached to the front crossmember and radiastor support. The second picture is a front anti-sway bar. They are not interchangeable and serve different purposes.

The link I sent you is a factory front swaybar (2nd pic). The first pic (which is mislabeled by seller as sway bars) are the jounce bars which help to tighten up the front end from flexing. Both are considered to be part of the F41 suspension option...however this differs by G-body models. There are also a few other pieces of the F-41 suspension which varies among models. Using any or all the F-41 suspension pieces will improve handling of your car. I have all the pieces, off the various models including a 36mm hollow sway bar from a WS6 GTA Trans AM and the connecting front brace bar that was only available on Grand Prixs and is very similar to the aftermarket piece part #6756 sold by https://secure.mysuperpageshosting.com/kirbanperformance.com/index1.htm There are also fender to radiator core support braces (they vary by model but strongest ones are from Monte Carlos) radiator cross support braces (off Buicks). Also there is an all aluminum radiator core support (buick, rare, needs to be slightly modified for headlights, but not part of the F-41 suspension) Most of these pieces can be found by looking at the different G-body models at your local boneyard, and are usually CHEAP with the exception of the aluminum radiator core support...these are hard to find and can sell for as much as $300 by someone who knows what they are. Want one? Anything else? I have gotten all my pieces from boneyards, had them media blasted and then powder coated...and it's still usually cheaper than buying new ones or even buying from an Ebay seller.

Heh, heh, heh! I've got 4 U-Pull-It yards near me! They're always a good place to get parts and I'd like to give a big "THANKS" to all those people out there that are always talking on their cellphones, in a big hurry, and don't know how to drive.

Does anyone have a pic of the [hr:896b5fec50]fender to radiator core support braces [hr:896b5fec50] or the [hr:896b5fec50]radiator cross support braces [hr:896b5fec50] i thank i know what that looks like. if i can find these they will only cost me 2 bucks each.

i already have the factory f-41 sway bar i measured at 1 1/8" the joice bars and just added the grand prix par the connects the joice bars. Will it make a difference to add the 36mm hollow bar? I seen a few today and can get one for like 15 bucks.

If you go on Ebay you can usually find someone selling them at an inflated price. Kirban Performance (for pic) sells the fender to radiator core support braces for Grand Nationals and although are similar to the Monte Carlos, I believe they are longer and will interfere with your overflow tank, the one off a Monte crosses over your overflow tank, that's why the overflow tank in your Elky is made the way it is, they're the same. Other G-bodys have very thin rods for fender to core supports, this is not the type you want. As far as the radiator cross braces, I have them somewhere in my garage, but don't plan on using them as I will be going with an aluminum radiator out of a Trans Am with twin electric fans and I'm not sure yet if the cross braces will interfere with this setup. The radiator cross braces are rather thin and I can't see where they would help all that much, but if you can get them for $2, go for it.
