On my 81' ELCO it was 2 bults and 1 nut to remove it from the block. Then you tackle the hoses, just loosen the clamps then with so force they should slide off. Once out u can get the bracket from the old pump and transfer to the new one, it's a little tight to do before u get the pulley off. Once I transfered the bracket I took it to my local mechanic and he transfered the pulley for the best price of all, free. Then u just have to put it in and bleed the system.

I thought it was a p/s pump at first but now I think it is that new turbo steamer that BMW is working on.
