Hello,
I have a 1968 327 Elky I have been restoring. I am getting close to completion and need some assistance. I am trying to find out what Tire and Wheel sizes to use to get the look I want and was hopign to get some help if you would not mind.
I will be running the Cragar S 5 spokes, I am looking to create the mid 70's look of the raked front end smaller front tire and wider taller rear tire. I had a 68' That ran N/50/15's on the rear but I cannot remember the size of the fronts. I want to fill the rear fender well but I need the bed to still compress without hitting the tires.
I understand I can use: 275/50/15 on 15x8's Rear & 215/60/15 on 15x7 Front
But I want to know if anyone can tell me if I can go wider on the rear tires and can I go 15x10 wheels and still clear the fender wells? And if so is there a specific offset I need. Any input would be appreciated.
Regards
