Here's some step by step pics of repainting my stock rims. Total cost was less than $20 and an afternoon of time. Not too bad for the end product.

I'm not a big fan of that style wheel, but you did a very nice job! The important thing is that you did it, it came out right, it's bringing your Elky back to it's former appearance and it wasn't expensive. I've read posts where guys say "I don't know how to do that" or "I've never done that" ...hey get involved with your Elky and the do-it-yourself concept. You'll be surprised what you can do with some initiative! Start small if that's what your comfortable with...but be optimistic!

Comparing your end result with the pic in your avatar, you've made a huge difference in the look of your El Camino. Nice work!
