I do not want a/c, and I have it disconnected, but I want to go with the just heat. Let me know if anyone have one... If you need (want) one that has a/c just let me know... maybe we'll swap. :)

All non AC G-body boxes are the same...if you find one in a boneyard and you want to take the time to remove it, you should get it for a song and a dance...well maybe, unless you sing and dance like me. You'll need to make your own gasket for it, but it's not hard. Also you can post in the parts wanted section over at www.maliburacing.com some guys remove their box and install the block off plate in place on their race cars...you might have better luck over there as that website is more racecar orientated.

Arent the earlier boxes mechanicaly operated rather than vacuum? I know on my 80 cabby the blower motor mounts on the front of the box and all doors are mechanical vs a top mount blower motor and vacuum setup.

Where are you located? I have a complete non AC setup including the box, under dash ductwork, and the cable controls sitting on a shelf in my garage. It's big and I really don't want to have to ship it though. But if you're close we can discuss price and you can come pick it up.
