What do ya'll think of white racing stripes on Hugger Orange on a 1982 GMC Caballero. I think I'll top it off with 16x8 IROC-Z rims off a Camaro and Corvette style dual exhaust tips. Give me suggestions on rims and paint.

Not trying to be smart, But I suggest you go with what you like, Try looking at the Members Gallery "CARS". You will get allot of Ideas on
BOTH Color, and Rim choice. Sort of a mix and match, somthig will
sure to grab you there.

Used to be a 69 camaro running around here years ago that was orange with a white interior and a white conv top with white SS stipes. Looked real sharp!
These colors look good the other way too. White with orange stripes like a 69 camaro pace car.

I agree, what you like may not be what someone else likes...but who cares, your the one who owns it. You also gotta consider interior color...I wouldn't think you'd what something that's gonna clash with the exterior color. Hugger Orange/White Stripes/Blue Interior...naaaaaaa Hugger Orange/White Stripes/Black Interior...that works...of course black interior works with just about any exterior color.

How about a 2 tone interior? White and orange. Could do it a few different ways...

Orange dash, carpet, and white seats, door panels and plastic trim

Orange dash, carpet and white seats with orange inserts and white upper and lower door panels with orange inserts on the uppers.

Orange dash, carpet, trim, upper and lower door panels with white inserts on the uppers, and orange seats with white inserts.

Or just an all orange interior, or an all white interior.

Hugger orange and white is a classic combo that will never go out of style. It is easy to put colors with white and have 'em look good, but try putting colors with orange and things get tougher. Black works with orange, but looks too Black and Decker or Halloween. White just plain works great with orange.

I find myself attracted like a magnet to hugger orange and white stripes at car shows. How about a lite grey interior? Saw a 70 ss chevelle at a show once with those colors and that was a beautiful combination. Thought about the 2 tone white orange interior ,but only with a fancy customized interior . Can you say "Creme sicle". Black is 2nd on my list , with the properly prepared body, of course. Then again, any color can do if its a high quality job! Can you guess what color my 70 will be? Which by the way, is coming along slowly at this time.
