I have a 73 El Camino & need to find out how long the bolts are that hold the front straps in place/ where can I get just the bolts?

I bought the bolts I need from Ace Hardware. The have a large stock of automotive grade bolts. I changed my tank from the stock 17 gallon tank to a 21 gallon tank. The only reason I bought new bolts was to original bolts were about 1/16 inch to short. The tank is slightly different in shape and the straps were not bent quite right to fit the new tank. I bought the longer bolts which allowed me to get the wrench on them. After I tightened them up I could use the old bolts if I wanted.

Do you have the old bolts? If you do just head over to a local Ace Hardware and get a bolt just a little longer with the same threads. The bolts on a 73 will be SAE not metric like mine. Ace has them all.
