Hello everybody!

In here is discusting very much about 17" wheels and tyres, but again...!
I have 5th gen (1982) elky and i like to know if i put 275/40-17 tyres to rear so is that 4.75" backspace only right alternative or could it possibly to be for example 4.5" or 5" without any spacers?
I like to use American racing torg thrust 2 wheels ( 17" x 9.5" ).

5" should work fine but I'm not 100% sure about that.. I'm running a rear out of a 72' which is 2" wider than a stock rear.. My backspace is 5.5 but could have been 6" to keep from having to roll the fender lip... Contact Centerline wheels or American Racing and they should know what would fit best on your 82'.. Good Luck!
