Tom mgs72elky 12-21-2006, 07:04 PM Hey Tom, Thanks for the reply and concern. No, I wouldn't leave town without saying bye to my Elky friends. Was out of commission awhile, had to have emergency surgery, 14 days hosp./rehab, but am starting to walk now. I was washing the Caddy, and was bent over washing the rocker and one of my fusions splintered and lodged against my spine. So I commensed to falling into a heap, couldn't get up, couldn't walk. I won't bore you with the rest. That's where I've been. Some good come of it all though. Mike Nunn said he'd travel up from R.I. and not only wash the rockers on the Caddy, but he'd do the Elky's too. How bout that? Good to hear from ya Tom, enjoy the holidays. MOX-CT 12-26-2006, 12:31 PM 3 months, man you are really putting on the pressure. I started to build a small block for my Elky, but have decided to build a stroker big block. The rearend is still sitting on a stand and the frame is behind the garage. Unless I become instantly wealthy, I can't see having it streetable in 3 months. What I said is I'd be glad to drive there, and give him my extra creeper so "HE" could do "MY" quarter panels while I sit in "HIS" Caddy since he's all laid out and on his back. :lol: Glad you're back at the keyboard Mark.
