I have a 64 thats in worst shape than I thought. I now have a chance to get a better 66. Since its a second gen, will hoods, doors and tailgates swap? I think the 66 will be a better platform to restore. Thanks for your wisdom.

I think the tailgate will work, hoods & doors are different. I think the hardware , hinges, regulators are the same.

There will be some generic pieces that are the same, but not much else. Huge difference in body parts from 64 to 66. Same story on interior items
