Hello everyone,

I am trying to find out if the following setup will work on the 5th Gerneration El Caminos.
I want to use IROC replica wheels that are 16X8's and I found Goodyear HR2 tires that are 215/55R16's for up front and 225/55R16's for the rear.
Will this present any problem with rubbing or can I go bigger all around?
Thanks,

Pat Green,

I had 245/50/16 on 16x8 wheels, perfect fit all around. I'm not a big fan of going with different size tire front and back. When I was younger it seemed "cool" to have the fatter tire in back, but now it's all about equal tread on all 4 corners. 8)

Backspacing may be an issue with the wheels. If the backspacing is @ 4" you can do pretty well but it is something to be mindful of.
