Nice Elky Klaus, to bad you had to ruin your website by showing the picture of Our Beloved President George Bush in that manner. Oh yeah I checked out the BUSHANDCHENEYSUCK.COM website also. I really wish people would leave their politcal viewpoints off this website but then again I guess thats what Freedom of Speech is all about right Klaus? I'm exercising mine now. Well I just hope you don't wire that BMW dash wrong Klaus and that beautiful American made El Camino doesn't go up in flames. Hey Klaus, just what does it cost you for a gallon of gas in your country and where does it come from Belgium, France or Germany? :x Michael J. Barone USN Retired

Hi all,
Sorry for the Bush pic on my page, i delete Mr. President.... Look now: http://www.elcamino.rockcrawler.com/new.html is now better ?
The gasoline here in Luxembourg cost now 0,80 Euro per Litre. The other country's, Belgium, Germany, France, must pay over 1,00 euro per Litre.

Klaus, thank you, but I did not mean for you to remove the pic, it is your right to put whatever you want on your website, that is Freedom of Speech. That is what I have been entrusted to protect by my country. I apologize to you and to any members I may have offended for mentioning my political viewpoints on this website. Mike

Yeep, that's right. I'm happy to be here. El-Camino pages here in Europe are very rare. http://www.el-camino.de is open, but the last update is from 2001. And my friend Robert from Switzerland closed the page Http://www.el-camino.ch . A good Elky page is from Maikel in Netherland
http://run.to/elcamino here can you find the pics from the FIRST EL-CAMINO DAY in Europe last year. Over 70 Elky's ! A another page is from Frenchy man Eric at http://cf.geocities.com/ecric22/

Hi Elky SS
The 330hp crate is a good engine. I change now the camshaft, valvesprings, headgaskets and so on, to pull out more power. You can feel it !

Hi Jim,
Yeep, i remember. Roby own now a 1978 Malibu Sedan and a 1947 Ford Truck, it's a Hearse, a Undertaker car :-) look at http://www.elcamino.rockcrawler.com/interests.html this is a crazy Truck with a good running Flathead V8 and original 18.000mls on the counter. The Blazer is a Ex-US Army M1009. I change the complete front end with the look from a 1978 Blazer. Christiane's Old's is the last 2-Door Omega here in Luxembourg. Next week, i hope so, comes a new family member, a 1952 Chevy Styleline.

That's right, but: The S10 is not a X-treme car, its a plastic bomber

Over 120 with spacers? Are you crazy? Reminds me of the time I went 130 with the tires rubbing the tie rod ends!

Hi,
This spacers are not the simply ones. Thats a quality product and testet over many years. Take a look at

SPACERS (http:// www.spurverbreiterung.de)

Hi camino_driver17
Thanks :D
Hmm, i never calculate the total costs, but i think, the last 5 years i invest +/- 25.000 bucks. But, other people have other hobbies. I live my dream.

I like the X-Treme Badging. Yah yah its painted, still called badging / Graphics.

On the back of my 76 I have the plastic (X-Treme) Badge from GM. I equate that to the same as people applying the SS Badging to a Car or Truck. To me that is a statement not a logo. However as far as the SS goes. Chevy's are far more expensive for the SS versions and, for me, preserving that is important so I don't fake an SS. I don't think it is "Faking' an X-Treme S-10 because it is not an S-10 and you didn't try to pass it off as one.

Anyway... It looks like you put a great deal of work into your truck and it paid off well. Good looking truck!

I've never ran spacers on any wheels. Did you swap out to a 7/16 20 lug? What were they 3" long jobs? I've never been bold enough to trust mods like that with my life. I'm sure that properly installed, for normal driving, they are sufficient. But I never wanted to push that. It is easier to get the proper backspacing on the Rims for me.
