We've Arrived - Gen X'ers, Y'ers, Z'ers, whatever, have disovered the El Camino as the Campy gift to give their loved ones this Christmas.

Check out Esquire magazine, December issue, Page 76.

Esquire asked various campy experts to list what they would give their family and friends for Christmas this year. The likes of Tom Arnold, Lauren Graham, Simon Doonan, etc. Karim Rashid, designer for Prada, Sony, Giorgio Armani, etc. has his family Christmas list - for his wife he bought a 1987 El Camino on Ebay for $9000.00. "The El Camino is this really odd hybrid of pickup and standard car, with a concave back window. The proportions are beautiful, and its curves remind me of her."

There is a picture of a white or silver Elky. 8)

Heh... and I was only hoping for a tonneau cover and/or a set of headers.

I hope Santa brings you all those goodies on your list.

Me, I'm too impatient. My birthday is in 2 weeks and I just got my new tonneau cover today. Looks good. I went with a light grey against the dark indigo blue.

Still have to develop an Elky Christmas Wishlist. Now there is an idea for a new thread.

Whoa, Clyde....you big camel!!!
