I have been wanting to address an issue with the steering wheel since I purchased my '65. The wheel seems to have some, "play" in it where it moves up and down and left to right. It also appeared that the wheel did not sit all the way on the column. I pulled the wheel and found that the cancellation cam appeared to be a 74-86 style cancellation cam ( and was cracked and broken) as well as the bearing around the shaft that the wheel is bolted to was worn. I could not get the switch out even after removing the three screws I could see. My questions are:
1) Where can I find the correct parts?
2) How do I get the old ones out?

I thank you all in advance for any help you can provide.

Go to Goodmark and check out "Chevelle" of the same year. Goodmark has replacement steering wheels "Year specific" and probably has the internal parts also. The Chevelle and Elky was pretty much the same as far as steering wheels went may have had a slightly different emblem but then it may not have.
