The lower part of my 79 Elky is black as well as the front air-dam. There were all kinds of small (white) rock chips showing. They no longer show due to a trick I learned by owning two Black Corvettes. The Black Sharpie felt tip pin is you friend. Just touch up the rock chips with the Sharpie. They may still be there but you have to really look hard to see them.
Sure made the Elly look better

I use a sharpie for touch up on my bed trim when I scratch it. I painted it black a long time ago.

I forgot to add it works great the rubber bumpers. Mine was cracked in a few places. I filled them with some glue stuff (Gorilla Snot) and covered it with the sharpie when it dried.

I have an all black car...it rock chips with white under the paint. My White car chips with black under the paint. Is something wrong here??? Why can't the primer under white cars be....white? Under black cars...black?
