AFTER RECIEVING SO MUCH HELP FROM EVERYONE HERE. I HOPE ITS MY TURN TO HELP SOMEONE ELSE. I HAVE FOUND THAT TUBULAR A ARMS FOR MY BROTHERS 72 EL CAMINO ARE RATHER EXPENSIVE. BUT THE ORIGINAL PARTS GROUP OFFERS A COMPLETE KIT FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. THE PRICE OF THIS KIT IS 699 WITH A HANDELING CHARGE OF 4.75. MY FINAL COST WAS 704.70 THERE MAY BE A WAIT FOR IT, BUT I HAVE FOUND IT'S WORTH IT. HERE IS A DESCRIPTION OF THE KIT:
Upgrade your front suspension with tubular control arms designed to provide maximum wheel travel with minimal friction. OPGI is proud to offer a complete kit with everything you need including upper and lower arms, upper cross shafts, ball joints, bushings, and lower bumpstops. Upper arms are constructed from 1-1/4" x .120" tubing and the lowers are 1-1/2" x .120" tubing for superior strength. Each arm is equipped with a patented self lubricating plastic bushing that is designed to outlast any rubber or urethane and works at temperatures in excess of 400 degrees. Chrome-moly cross shafts are also zinc plated for lasting performance and sleeves have an interlocking design to prevent the hardware from ever working loose. If a complete front suspension facelift is what you seek, this kit is the solution.

Here's another option for adjustable control arms and tall ball joints that improve front end geometry and look pretty spiffy. I hope to go with their Street-Comp Stage 2 package, adjustable upper control arms with tall upper and lower ball joints, about $620.
