Does anyone know where I can get the correct SS hinges and springs.

From what I have gathered from the net is the repro ones are only recommended with the lighter repro hoods.

Looking for someone that has had success making the change.

Our new '68 hood hinges are of the same metal thickness as the originals. They should be no problem.

From what I can tell, the hinges were the same, but the springs for the SS/cowl induction hoods weren't as stiff as the ones for the flat hoods. I believe this was to compensate for the loss of structural rigidity with the "bump" in the hood.
