Yo guys whats up? Anyone know of any car yards around the atlanta area with old Elkys or chevys. Most of the ones i've found are all late model salvage with no old cars.

Might be a little far for ya, but Austin Hinds Motors in Arab Alabama might be worth contacting. www.austinhindsmotors.com He sells car transporters and meticously restored Chevys but has a boneyard across the street from his dealership. Austin has a big soft spot for Chevys, especially Elkys. I know he had a few the last time I visited down there.

Check this out. http://www.pullapart.com/ One 4th Gen, one 5th Gen. Two yards in Atlanta Area. Dirt cheap but there's a caveat (a catch for those of you in Rio Linda). They charge admission ($1) and you also have the option of buying a "warranty". Buy the warranty. If you don't and the part you buy doesn't fit you're outta luck. But with the warranty it's an easy exchange or refund.

I drove to that one in AL, wouldn't bother wasting your time there as everything there was picked over, junked real bad, or put through the crusher.

What are you looking for? I'm about 3 hours south of Atlanta.
