my '68 elcam w/ A/C needs a new heater core. ive done a heater core before only it was worse ('89 Volvo 780 Bertone). i will have no problem completing this job once i get this answered: do i go in from the firewall (remove A/C assembly and stuff), go at it from under the dash of the pasenger side, or both. if you cant answer questions good please point out someone who can. thanks a bunch.

You got a bit lucky as the '68 W/AC is reached from under the hood. I recommend you go to the library or bookstore to get a Chilton manual as this is still a tricky job and Chilton has pictures. Regardless, be extra careful when taking the top cover off the module. You have to break the seal and if all retainers and screws are not properly removed you can break the module body and that means trouble. :)

It is a easy job, just take your time. Remember all the plastic is old.
