If you want to travel just a bit further, I know a good shop in the city of La Puente, in the San Gabriel Valley. It would probably be about a 30-45 minute drive for you from the OC, depending on where you are.

The name of the shop is Hye Tech Performance, and the number is 626-855-1154. If you call, talk to Sod and tell him that Ed referred you. This shop has built 3 engines for me for different vehicles, and various engines for friends of mine. I've become a good friend of the owner and have the highest confidence in his work. He is very good with muscle cars and Buick turbo cars, but will work on anything. He even drives an '87 GMC Caballero as his daily driver. Let me know if you need any other info.

The only shop I use is Don Lee Auto (www.donleeauto.com) in Rancho Cucamonga.
