It would be nice to get KC Elky owners together on a Saturday night to swap info on where to get work done, parts, etc. I'd suggest piggybacking on an existing cruise night, such as the regular Friday night one at the Sonic at Keesler (?) in Olathe between I-35 and downtown on Santa Fe/135th St. (their attendance has been down, but when the lot is full it is tough to find parking), or one of the cruises at Winsteads on 103rd-Metcalf in Overland Park on a Saturday evening. Look through the list of cruise nights in the Saturday Automotive section of the Kansas City Star and pick one.
My local T-bird club, Vintage Thunderbirds of Kansas City, helps host the cruise at Johnny Ray's in Lee's Summit on the third Saturday evening of the months of August and October. If you get there early enough there's parking in one of the side lots that could handle a group of Elkys.

;Hey folks saw the posts for a cruise night or low key get to gether. Live in Olathe KS have seen a few other Elky's running around here. A 85 or so like mine and a nice looks like a early 70's model. Moved up here from Tucson AZ about 5 years ago . Had a 72 with a 350 with the usual Saturday go fast off the shelf go alittle bit faster parts. Right now I have a 85 with the 305 smoganiator motor with so many hoses going to things that do not seem to have anything to do with the actual running of the vehicle. This is the newest old car I have owned and except for a Grand Prix which was a nice car. I have been a Bowtie fan and huge muscle-car lover my life. Just got into Elkys about 8-9 years ago and have found them to be unique vehicles. Need some advice-help. Am switching the carb over to a TBI system have everything except for the fuel tank sending unit which has a in-tank pump on it. Or at least that is what my manuel says even shows a pic. however all the parts places and OPG Elco Store etc. Keep sending me the wrong part. Has anyone actually seen the pump-sending unit hanger assem outside ofthe tank. It would be for the V-6 FI motor but it will work on this system. Any way hello to all and hope we may get a chance to meet up. Later
