Get your wrenches turning and rags a polishing!!! (too late. Mark's ahead of us by a week already)

I just looked at www.cruisinbruce.com website and noticed that the date's been set to June 24th. As soon as he hang's a flier there I'll update this post with a hot link.

UPDATE: As of today (14 May) it's the 3rd flier down on the following link:

Cruisin Bruce's Show Fliers Page
(http://www.cruisinbruce.com/CarShowFlyers.html)

Maybe this year, it won't be "Rain-out #2" or "Sweat-a-thon #3".

Is it too early to see who's interested in going?

Later.

Mike

Great, Ernie.

Looking forward to it and seeing you again.

Mark said in an email he was coming too. (He would have posted, but was having "techno-culty".

I know it's over 2 months away. Who else is planning to come?

I will probably come, I hope it isn't as hot as last year. I knocked off the connector to the a/c compressor and we roasted all the way home. I guess it pays to keep a dirty engine!

Alan, You mean I won't have to envy you that icy, air conditioned ride home for the 3rd year in a row? Geez.

I swore I'd have A/C in mine this coming year, but that never happened.

Guess we'll all be doing the "synchronized sweating" dance.

Hope you can get it fixed in time.

This show is what, 3 weeks away now?

I count Alan, Jay, Mark, and me.

Who else is coming?

Ummm... what am I chopped liver?

Ernie, Sorry for the omission, but I guess [since Mark chickened out] I was silently assuming you to be the next New England Regional Director. And as such, you were going to be there at 6AM in addition to the 4 I counted, passing out NECOA stickers and such. :poke:

Oh, by the way. I love chopped Liver. Just slice it thin, fry it quick and hot, and smother it under a pound of caramelized onions. Yum Yum. :cool2:

So.....????? Who made the show? Did you all park under the tree's again? That was a great spot the last few years.

Sad, to say, the Elco is not registered and the insurance runs out soon. Hopefully it will be sold soon... :(

Anybody post any pictures????

Mark sent me an email with an update:

The show was good, the weather this year was just perfect.
Couldn't ask for better. Same spot, under the trees. Had maybe a dozen
Elkys there. Mike Nunn and myself were the only necoa members there. We were both in modified, and Mike grabbed second, and I was lucky enough to get first. I didn't know any of the stock class owners, I think Mike did though.

That tan 65 or 66 that was there last year took second I believe. A black 64 that was trailered up from CT. took 1st. Well thought I'd fill you in. Needless to say, Mike was good company, and his friend Bill also. I had brought a lady friend so the four of us sat under the canopy in our little sewing circle.

Thanks Mark for the update!

Hi All.

Just Loaded the Chevy Show pics I took into an album on Page 8 of the car shows section, but for some reason it's not showing up.

UPDATE: HERE'S THE NEW LINK TO THE CHEVY SHOW PICTURE ALBUM. LET ME KNOW IF I HAVE THE CAPTION DETAILS MIXED UP

Had a great time with the perfect weather and all, but sure missed you Gary, Jay, Ernie and Alan.

Turnout was a little light this year. Probably because of the RI N/G Air Show, other Car shows, and the Cape Cod Clam Chowderfest all on the same weekend.

Lost of shows coming up. Will see you soon as one or more.

Mike
