has any one put a floor shifter in a late model camino with a bench seat. if so what kind and some pictures if you have some.

I put a Megashifter in my 83' Caballero - it touches the center of the bench and just about touches the bottom of the dash. Forget about using the ashtray if you want a floor shifter(I dont smoke so it didnt matter). Fits fine and works great. Sorry no pics from me.

I put in a B&M megashifter in my 83 when I had a bench seat. I worked fine. But have since changed to bucket seats and installed a 2003 Monte Carlo center console. You can't miss a shift with it and it is good for 3 or 4 speed. Also is an easy installation.
