80ElcoGuy 05-04-2007, 07:36 AM I am trying to find a site or someone with a book of all the GM head casting numbers so I can figure out what I have. The heads are a V6 229 Head. Even If I could just find the stock specs for the 229 and see if there were any variations. I saw in a Federal Mogul book that there were four different combustions sizes but I still would be doing good even at 65cc cause that would still be 9.06:1 with the pistons I am using. And with the oversize bore. It will be a total of 236ci. I am hoping this thing will really run. Oh well I am just going to assume (i better be careful with that one lol) That the heads I have are 58cc. Which means that even though my motor is bored 60 over that I will have atleast 9 to 1 compression ! Which will be a far better than stock. | ||
