Progress is continuing on the 455 Buick powered Elky. Wired up the Dakota Digital today and lite it off for the first time after dinner. COOOOOL! I'm tired though. I would hate to do this on a fully assembled vehicle sitting on the ground.

I will post some pics in the next couple of days if anybody wants to see.

Here is the first picture I took with the bezels on.

The dash really has some nice features. The speedometer was really easy to calibrate with the GPS and my laptop. It offers several ways to do it and can always be tweaked if you change tires or rear gears.

I wish it had a rev limiter built in but it only has a shift point indicater.

464elky,Thanks for the photo,it really looks nice.I`ve been interested in them but did not realize the guage readings are seperated like they are from the factory.Looks better installed than in the advertizements. Why would sitting on the ground be harder?Hooking it up to the transmission? Why did you choose the Dakota over say the Norskog?Just curious.Sorry you cannot make it to the Eustis,Fl. Car Show May 26 but hopefully you will have your El Camino up and running for the Super Chevy Show at Moroso Park in your backyard(Palm Beach) in late October.Did you solve the issue on you bell housing hookup I read about in the transmission forum?
