That sums it up I can get an 85 dash and I'm not sure if it will fit an 83 Camino.

78-87 dashes will fit each other. Slight diffences in the looks of some of the years but they are the same size. An 85 in an 83 is no problem, same size and look.

Yes, it'll fit. I have an '84 dash in my '78.
