Finally, my 65 elky has the garage all to it's self. I just pushed her in today. I started pulling out what was left of the interior and the windsheild. I was planning on not putting a dash pad back in but theres some rust holes in the top of the dash just above the glove box. So ill remove the rust and fix what can be seen outside of the dash pad and recover it with a new one. I had the windsheild out, all the way and laid it down gentley and the damn thing cracked down the center  . So I guess i'm in the market for a new windsheild. Started removing the front clip so i can clean and paint the frame, fender wells and inside fenders. next will be the 283 and the power glide. I was thinking of rebuilding the 283 and running a port injection setup on it. Who knows :? Well i'll let you guys know how it's coming along and hopefully by mid summer it will look as good as some of your elkys.
