I would never put Mother's and Armor All in that list and why Mr. Clean?

What about Souverin, PS21, Zaino, Zymol?

Mother's wax for the paint and Eagle One products do GREAT for me.
Mother's has great staying power.
Forget ANY Armor-All products.
I wax in the Spring and once again in the Fall.
My 2001 Dodge Neon's paint has held up very well and not ONE rust spot on it.
Getting 83 Camino from my paint and body guy this week. Then will be getting crate motor in.
I do ALL my mechanical work.
Not bad for all the damn salt Michigan puts on our roads. Even in the summer, for dust control this dumb state uses a salt brine. Good for about 2 weeks and if it rains, it is gone.
Michigan's road up-keep SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you talking about the Mr. Clean system that filters the water so that it air drys with no water spots? If so...run as if your life depended on it (ok I'm being overly dramatic). I've tried this product twice on my dark blue Durango. Didn't leave water spots, but it did leave a dull film that required me to use the Mequires #6 to get the finish to look decent again. I just figured I did something wrong, so I tried again the next time I needed to wash the big blue bus (lots of limerock roads around here) and followed the instructions to the letter. Same result. All in all, I wasn't impressed. I'll stick to a decent car wash soap (Mother's or Mequire's) and hand wash, followed by drying with either soft, clean towels or a chamois. Of course, this is just my experience...your results may vary.

I currently have products from the following manufacturers in my kit:

Meguiars (Cleaner/Polish, Show Car kit, Gold Class, MF, Quick Detailer, water magnet (WWMF))

Mothers (Clay, Quick Detailer)

Zymol (Cleaner Polish)

3M (Clay, cutting compound)

Most the stuff I have is what I call "domestic", ie. what you can buy from your local Auto store. The 3M stuff is from their professional line and I know a fair bit about the Megs "professional" line of products, which are a step above the domestic.
