I need the the firing order for 1987 el camino 4.3 V-6.
I need to know what wire goes where on the distributor cap.

Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2

Bring piston for the #1 cylinder to TDC on it's compression stroke. Pull the distributor cap off. The rotor will be pointing at where the #1 wire should go.
