I got the paint on and have started some of the bolt ons. I had a booth lined up but it fell through so I just said the . . . with it and painted it at home. Luckily it turned out.

Thanks for all the praise guys! I appreciate sharing with people that I know understand the hours of just plain ol' back breaking labor goes into some of these projects.

the front fender mod are ports from 2006 Lucerne Buick.

The color is Sonoma Jewel. It is an 07 Hummer color, code 412p.

Yes I plan on being at Moroso in the fall. I look forward to meeting you and sharing stories along with a little bench racing.

464, looking good.

I have tried my hand at spray painting my Holden Ute and I now know I have a lot to learn. I have used single stage paint myself with a small direct drive compressor and cheap gun.

In seeing the results you achieved you are obviously a pro or semi-pro. Excellent job and nice ride.

Actually I have a 10 horse Ingersol Rand compressor and it is base coat clear coat. I used single stage acrylic enamel on the underside and the firewall to make it easier to touch up if needed at a later date.
I have done quite a bit of painting but it has been about 15 years since I kind of decided to get out of the fumes.
