Thinking about replacing the body bushings after 37 years. How hard will it be to lift the body clear enough to replace some of the nuts in the frame? Several of the bolts have already rusted/snapped. Those I could get to in the rear were repaired and rebolted. I plan to remove the bad ones with a hole saw and MIG in nut plates where needed, use shims where they don't need to be replaced. Does the front end need to be removed prior to the lift ??

Although I have not done this yet, there's a good but short article on this in Janurarys edition of Super Chevy magazine on a 2nd gen Chevelle.
