Greetings from the Great White North (West)!
Does anyone know what other models are conducive to replacing the doors on my '76 El Camino Classic? There's not much in the line of original replacement parts in this neck of the woods, so I'm searching for alternatives. Any help would be appreciated. :?

All 73-77 doors are the same for the elky. Someone will need to confirm this, but I believe 73-77 Chevelle coupes used the same door, just different glass.

Thanks! Have you any idea if the glass from my original doors will fit the Chevelle doors? (The windows are the only parts of the old doors that are worth saving - they don't rust! LOL)

I have a 77 that just finished a "body-on" rebuild. When we stripped it down, the rust behind ALL of the trim, was shocking. It was easier to replace the front left fender and the drivers door than fix them.
I got a "parts locater guide" book from Vintage Parts (www. vintageparts.com). With the help of this book, I found a fender in New Mexico and a Chevelle door in Penn.
The chevelle door is a match, it's even a 1975 model. You have to change the window glass because it's shaped differentely.
Order this parts locator book! It's priceless. If you have trouble, contact me and I'll help if I can.
