I have a stock 86 el camino and the rear end sags really bad if I load anything in the back. I put air shocks on but I think the springs are shot. Any suggestions on rear springs. I like the stance it has now but need a stronger spring that will take at least a moderate load.

Try springs for a Malibu wagon, they're a bit stiffer.
How about one of those new air bag set-ups? Performance Suspension (http://www.performancesuspension.com/)

Are the variable rate moog springs for an El camino or another car. Do you have a part number?

I went with the rear springs from a Monte SS (New Moog parts). I've had 2 different air shocks in there, and now I have KYB gasajust, adn the air bags. The ride and handling is much better with regular shocks, and I have loaded it to the gills with the air bags, and only 35 pounds of air out performs 200# air shocks for lift.

Thanks I am going to get the CC651 Moog rear springs for my El camino. I have a Monte Carlo SS and 2 years ago I lowered it and got rid of the rear springs which would have worked perfectly for my El camino I bought 8 months ago. Oh well, I had no where to put them anyways. Thanks for the info, the kyb's and airbags sound great.!! :-D
