Anyone catch Monster Garage the other day? They had these guys build a remote control racer. Then they took it to a track and had it race Jessie's Elky(the one from the figure 8 show).

Now was it just me or did that look NOTHING like a Elky? It had all the lettering,paint,and numbers like the first car,but the body looked more like a late model Monte or something. The announcer said "it looks much differant that the last time you saw it". Think the first one is to far gone and they are trying to cover it up?

That would be the one. You'll notice it has a quarter window much like the W bodies. They were saying that it's was the Elky from the figure 8 show and that it was fixed. They even showed footage from that show of the ELky getting wrecked as they were saying it. I smell BS!!

Who watches that crappy show anyway? Not me since he turned into a elCamino hater.
