well its the age old question again. i have a 79 elk with the sweep. i purchased a gauge package from a 79 ss elk. the circuit board is different. i got the wire order from the doner car which seems to be same as later models that i got from your previous post. but i have tried to remove the colored wires from there plug and cant seem to pull them free .where i can put them in the correct order. any help would be great. thankz

there sould be some kind of lock tang on each of the terminals that can be released with a pin or a pick through the front of the connector. the lock tang with need to be pulled back out before you put it back. be carefull not to break the lock tang
