well the glove box door on my '84 conquista is cracked. it was in reaaly nice condition too. i need a replacement. does anyone know of a place where they sell 5th gen. glovebox doors? i checked www.elcaminostore.com and www.opgi.com and to my surprise they did not carry one. i know you guys can help.

If you shop on ebay, you'll know that this guy is selling lots of way overpriced El Camino and MCSS stuff. Much of what he sells is still available at your local GM dealer for a lot less. His used parts are astronomically priced too. Personally I would not buy from him but as the saying goes: "There's a sucker born every minute". Oh, and if you read this forum Barry, no offense. :-D

Ha had to raz ya. :P Yes GM sports may be hi on e-bay but since I can go direct i feel the price is not bad and I also now have frequent flyer miles at my local chevy dealer who wanted to charge me $131 for the same hinge GM gave to me for $40. I agree ya gotta shop around and that's why we are all hear to protect each other and give great advice...like I've gotten so far. Thanks for your expediante e-mail Ernie.
