I am not sure when but the bell housing around my 350 THM broke. It opened up all the way around the transmission and twisted in the tunnel. Bizarre problem. Sure did sound wired when it happened. I guess power take offs are not very good for heavy vehicles. And the THM 350 is weaker than I first thought. I have been worrying about internal breakage and this thing brakes the case.

I am going to try to weld it together. I can't afford another transmission for it just yet. I'll put it back together and take it easy for a while until I can get another tranny it will be an overdrive.

Such is life I guess.
