Today I was driving home from school and my car started to run real sluggish. So I deal with it for a couple blocks but it starts to get worst. Now it feels like I am towing a semi. The car is doing no more than 5 to 10 mph then the front brake pads start to smoke. So now I am like 2 blocks away from my house and I realize it isn't going to make it. So I checked the obvious and checked the brake fluid and it was several different colors. I tried to get in my car and it was like there was a line lock on my car. SO I tried to loosen the bleeder valves and it was a no go. SO I ended up removing the rear brake line on the master cylinder. And I was able to push it home. The rubber that goes in the master cylinder car has expanded from the heat. SO I got to get a new one of those. I am going to flush the brake fluid tomorrow. I just had to vent. Now its time to go find my speed bleeder.

I don't believe the rubber in the master cylinder is the cause of your problem. Anyway you need to check the condition of your calipers now with all the heat generated from them locking up. It might have fried the seals. Just a thought maybe your master cylinder is bad and caused the lock up....

Sounds to me like the proportioning valve is stuck. Check it, also the calipers like Doug said, along with the condition of the pads and the rotors for warping. Truthfully, check everything, hoses and all.

I suspect it to be the callipers. The rubber seals around them have holes in them so I ordered a new set they should be in next week. I also got new rotors and pads. How much is that valve I might want to buy one of those too.

They are @186.95 minus your 5% discount. At this price this would be the last thing I would replace. It's not likely it's bad anyway, at least I have not had to ever replace one. Maybe someone has more experience with this part has some advice. It's located downstream from the master cylinder on the frame....Doug

Your brake fluid has been contaminated with a mineral based fluid like powers steering fluid or trans fluid. Pull some out of the master and put it into a clear cup of water. Let it sit and you will see the oil come to the top. Proof.
Your brake locked up because the rubber in the system is swelling like you lid. You have no choice no but to replace every rubber part in the system and flush out all the lines. This included the propotiong valve. Flushing in new fluid is only a band-aid and won't fix anything for long.
I suggest you take a look at the thread "All About Brake Fluid" read the part about contaminated systems.
Sorry to hear about this,
Mike
