Hello,

Im new to this computer stuff so here it goes.
Im restoring my 1979 el camino SS and it needs floor pans both right and left, I would like to know where I can get the best quality floor pans that I can order over the phone and have shipped to me that will be closest to oem and fit nice.. I was told there are many manufacturers of ther and they all vary in quality. I would like to get the best I can....I greatly appreciate any help anyone could give

Thank you
Joe R

Joe, Welcome to the best El Camino site on the web. I can't give you an answer to your question but there will be others that will chime right in. I know I have read in several posts that the floor pans you get will be for a two door(Malibu, Regal etc) and will be a few inches short if you need to go all the way from front to back.
Use the search feature and you should find lots of info on replacing and acquiring floor pans.
I did a quick search and it looks like most of the guys are recommending ecparts

Here is a link click here (http://ecparts.net/SMfloor.htm#Floor%20Patches)

Just ordered a full left side floorpan from Mike's Montes in Ohio via ebay $199 plus $95 for shipping, best price I could find. Will let you know how well it fits, should be welded in by some time next week.

The floorpan from Mike's Montes (via ebay) was excellent, full size and a great fit. $296 delivered is a bit pricey but was the best price I could find.
