I have a question regarding the rear springs. I have noticed that at ride height the upper spring perch sits forward of the lower perch that is on the axle, is there a reason for this? Also, if there is what effect would it creat by moving the upper perch directly above the lower perch? Thanks for any info you can provide.

I would check your pinion angle. If its not aligned properly, it might have caused the spring to "slip". If that checks out to be good, raise the vehicle, lower the rear axle, and use a rubber mallet and try realigning the springs that way.

Pinion angle checks out fine. Measuring the difference I would say the upper perch is about 1.5 inches forward of the rear perch, I would need a very large hammer to move it that much 8O . Do you think moving the upper perch so it's in line with the rear would cause any problems?

yes, something is wrong, and it's not the factory welded perch.

I think August means that upper pigtail of the coil spring is not in center of the spring. That's from factory.
I just ordered AirRide bags and kit has brackets to get upper and lower end in line, so I don't know why it couldn't be done with coils also?
