Also recently its been shifting hard i was wondering if it was worth rebuilding and how much it would cost to do or any places that sell rebuild kits for cheap? thanks. seasaw 12-11-2003, 06:16 PM not sure but i think my brother picked his stock tranny from advanced auto for around $4oo jimmy74 12-11-2003, 08:53 PM draw the basic shape of the trans pan and count the number of bolts holding it on. most part stores can find out which trans it is with this info. is the trans shifting at a lot higher rpm than useual as well as shifting hard? if it is you could have either a sticking pressure valve causing high fluid pressure or a problem with the govener. b4black 12-12-2003, 07:12 AM 3 speed or 4 speed OD?
