I have a spade connector coming out of a wire bundle in front of the carb on my 1983 305 engine. It is not connected to anything. It has two light green wires. Does anyone know what this is for? Is it siimply a hookup for a diagnostic device or is there something it should be connected to? I cannot find any corresponding female connector that it might go to.

Thanks Robert, now I can forget about the darn thing. I was moving things around to change the fuel filter at the carb when I noticed it. I wasn't sure I hadn't disconnected something and just wanted to be sure.
