i have a 1979 (divorced style choke) Q jet carb
it is remanufactured from a local auto parts store a year ago
i bought it for a '77 400 engine, stock factory replacement, application is same for 350 and 400 engines according to sources and numbers
they quit making divorce choke in right about 1980
and continued with vacuum hot air tube type and with electric choke type
runs awesome, currently have it on my '82 trans am 350
its surface rusted due to being brand new and bare metal and high humidity here in central IL so if you want oen that not only runs liek new but looks like new then i dont know what to say, the surface rust could be removed if you know a way to do it, it is something i never wanted to attempt when you never see the carb under the cleaner anyways, i prefer reliability over looks any day :D
it is auto trans so it will take the TV or kickdown cable, it has the cable stud under there on the linkage throttle plate
will trade for electric choke model Q jet, or for something else interesting, like old chevy truck parts 67-up ?
buick olds pontiac v-8 engine mount pads mounts?
82 to 92 F body open 3.42 axle ?
front right firebird quarter panel
or rear left firebird quarter panel?
i have good 82 up camaro front fenders if someone wants to trade ? driver side is primered, pass side is painted and mint
try me
carb number is available and pics as well
