What vehicle used GM type 2 power steering pumps with a remote reservoir?
I picked up a 383 stroker motor that was built to go in a 280Z conversion and the AC & alternator brackets are right inline with the heads. The stock PS pump reservoir will hit the alternator. I saw a few small blocks at Daytona set up similarly and the used type 2 pumps.
I'd like to scrounge some from the junkyard to fit up before I start buying shiny bits.

Has any one used one of these? The block mount seems like it would be a good fit with my other components.

I don't know if it will work with your setup but 93-97 LT1 motors had a remote reservoir.

I don't think that will work, the LT1 uses the cast brackets with a serpentine belt IIRC.
I'll try to go poking through the junkyard this weekend, beats the Mall!
