I used a military spec. multi purpose cleaner. Worked great. I guess any strong plastic cleaner would help.

You can get a new one from the dealer for about 6 or 8 bucks.

I cleaned mine than took some light sand paper and cleaned it some more. When I finished I sprayed clear over it to help it stay cleaner. Old is old though and even doing my best it still is discolored. Perhaps the 8 bucks are better spent on a new one.

Overflow P/N 14085692 (called Reservoir). I paid $8.88 shop price last year.
